To be consortium of the stake holders of Tourism and Hospitality and affiliated institutions, experts and to associate with the government with the sole objective of promoting tourism, increasing tourist arrivals , International and domestic, in the state of Rajasthan, On public – partnership model, there by contribution to the job creation and GDP of state.
Core Activities
To create a Tourism promotion Council, which shall charter a path for at least next two years to take tourism forward.
Principal Secretary ( Tourism )- Government of Rajasthan, On request, shall be the chairperson of this council.
The Ministers or experts from the field of Tourism may be Co-opted in this council, to gain from their expertise.
Bases the scope as envisaged by this council, it shall further appoint sub committees.
Initial council shall consist of PS ( T) and the members of FHTR.
The FHTR shall work in sync with Government to actualise the activities such as specified in the MOA of FHTR.
For all activities FHTR shall arrive at working plan and funds , to execute the actions.
Sources of funds shall be explored, jointly between FHTR and Government of Rajasthan.
The Tourism promotion Council will create sub committee, working on the specific plan, limited to their scope.

The President Honor of Federation of Hospitality and Tourism of Rajasthan(FHTR), has been a pioneer in promoting tourism in Rajasthan. He started his Institution, Rajasthan Tours in the State of Rajasthan in 1959,when tourism was witnessing the emergence of Tourism Industry. During his outstanding career in tourism for more than five decades, Bhim Singh has travelled widely to Europe, America and the Far East and has established integrated network of Rajasthan with the rest of the world. He has won many awards of best Tour Operator in the State of Rajasthan from the Tourism Department and many other organizations and associations connected with tourism trade. Bhim Singh is a distinguished member of the most eminent travel organizations such as Indian Association of Tour Operators (IATO), The Travel Agents Association of India (TAAI), Adventure Tour Operators Association, Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) and has been attending their conventions regularly. He was solely responsible for organizing TAAI Convention in Jaipur in 1993 attended by 1600 delegates and FHRAI (Federation of Hotel & Restaurant Association of India) in Sep 1998. He is member of all most all the major tourism organization not only in India but also International and is very well known tourism expert person.

He is practicing in Jaipur for more than 25 years now and has been associated with the tourism industry for more than 30 years.He is rendering project managerial, financing, tax consultancy and audit services to all kinds of hospitality and tourism projects and is associated with a large number of hotels. An alumni of St. Xavier’s School, Jaipur [ ’82 batch ], he is a member of Rambagh Golf Club and the Pink City Press Club. Prior to the practice, he has worked for “ The Times of India Group “ as Manager – Finance.

He has held the post of the Honorary Secretary of Rajasthan Hotel & Restaurant Association as well for 4 years. Hemant Mittal holds Associate Degree of Science in Management of Hotel Operations from Ecole Hoteliere de Lausanne, Switzerland and Graduate in Bachelor of Commerce from Rajasthan University, Jaipur. He began his career with Days Group of Hotels and eventually turning to operations of their family hotel at Amber Jaipur. Today in an expansion mode the hotel is growing its Rooms and Convention capacity, and has also diversified to Real Estate and Construction with projects at various stages of development. During his tenures with CII and FICCI ,both leading apex Industry bodies of India, he played a lead role in promoting Industry & industry development for the economic growth, policy implementations besides an important role in advising to the State regulatory bodies as member to the State level advisory and steering committees. This role had allowed him to have direct interaction with Industry top management/ CEO’s as well as high level Govt. officials including public opinion leaders and media –international, national and regional levels. Has extensively travelled across the globe in India and International. Has addressed number of business fraternities on the Indian economic growth and bilateral tie-ups at large.
