Jaipur, 11 January. The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Federation of Hospitality and Tourism of Rajasthan (FHTR) was held at Hotel Hilton. On this occasion, the new executives of FHTR were also announced. Mr Kuldeep Singh Chandela was unanimously elected as the new President of FHTR, Mr Surendra Singh Shahpura as the Senior Vice President, Mr Khalid Khan and Mr Rajendra Singh Pachar as the Vice Presidents, Mr Virendra Singh Shekhawat as Secretary General, Mr Tarun Bansal as the Joint Secretary and Mr Rishipal Singh as the Treasurer.

FHTR President, Mr Kuldeep Singh Chandela said that our objective is to ensure safety and respect for tourism along with the development of tourism, for which we will have to work jointly. Expressing his gratitude to the patrons of tourism, he said that under their efforts and guidance, today we have succeeded in taking the tourism sector to new heights. We will also have to make efforts to conserve our heritage by promoting sustainable tourism, so that our future generations can also benefit from it, he stated.

Earlier, Mr Apurv Kumar, former President of FHTR highlighted various aspects like ‘Industry’ status given to tourism and hospitality sector, Rajasthan Domestic Travel Mart, promotion of tourism through digital marketing campaigns etc. He also thanked the Government of Rajasthan and the Tourism Department for their continued support to FHTR and the tourism sector.

Former Secretary General, FHTR, Mr Mohan Singh Mertia outlined the achievements of the organisation in the year 21-23. Former Treasurer, Mr Tarun Bansal presented the annual budget report including profit and loss account.

During this, FHTR Vice Presidents, Mr Rajendra Singh Pachar and Mr Khalid Khan; Secretary General, Mr Virendra Singh Shekhawat and other executive members of FHTR were present.
