Spotlight on Collaboration & Vision
Centered on the overarching theme “Explore, Discover, Experience, and Meet in India,” the event brought together hoteliers, resort owners, tour operators, wedding planners, and entrepreneurs to strategize on unlocking Rajasthan’s full tourism potential.
In His Own Words:
“Rajasthan is progressing rapidly in sectors like tourism, destination weddings, cultural events, and film shoots,” said Shriji Huzur Dr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar. “The state’s natural beauty, architectural marvels, cultural heritage, and deep-rooted traditions make it a magnet for tourists worldwide. To truly realize this potential, we must unite as one industry with one mission—RDTM is that collaborative platform.”
Mr. Anand Tripathi, Additional Director, Department of Tourism, echoed this sentiment by highlighting RDTM’s mission to build robust B2B networks and position Rajasthan not only as a top tourism destination but also as a hub for weddings, MICE, film production, and immersive heritage experiences. He emphasized the department’s dedication to empowering local stakeholders to access national and global markets.
Mr. Surendra S Shahpura, Sr. Vice President, FHTR, added:
“Udaipur is fast emerging as a tourism capital, with consistent growth in hotel inventory and tourist inflow. Locations like Udaipur and Kumbhalgarh are perfectly poised to lead Rajasthan into a new era of sustainable, wedding, and experiential tourism. RDTM is the launchpad for this vision.”
